Introduction:
10300 copper is a lightly alloyed grade of copper, formulated for primary forming into wrought products. CW020A is the EN numeric designation for this material. C10300 is the UNS number. Additionally, the EN chemical designation is Cu-PHC.
It has a moderately high thermal conductivity among wrought coppers. In addition, it has a moderately high melting temperature and a moderately high electrical conductivity.
Excellent hot and cold workability; good forgeability. Annealing temp.: 475-750°C (900-1400°F). Hot working temp.: 750-875°C (1400-1600°F). Fabricated by coining, coppersmithing, drawing and upsetting, hot forging and pressing, spinning, swaging, stamping.
Corrosion Resistance: Good to excellent
Weldability: excellent welding and brazing properties
